So often we change the subject
that the meaning sinks or shifts
In the end we are washed back to the oceans

Where are we?
Our ancestors won’t find the way back nor each other – –
Whales fall for lighters
And something in me leaps into the dark night
without knowing where to land

No you didn’t
Would you like to say something?
