Jo sana mobile kertoo liike-energiasta. Tekemäni mobilet ovat olemukseltaan hentoja: pieninkin tuulahdus tuo niihin eloa. Mobilet luovat ympäröivään tilaan herkkää kauneuden värähtelyä.
Eniten olen luonut mobileja käsinmaalatuista paperiperhosista
ja kierrätetyistä kristalleista. Jos auringonvalo pääsee osumaan kristalleihin, tilaa syleilee upea sateenkaarensävyin välkehtivä valon tanssi. Paperifiguurien (perhoset, sudenkorennot, linnut, kukat, puun lehdet, taivaankappaleet, yksisarviset jne.) toiselle puolen laitan lyöntimetallia (kulta/hopea). Joskus käytän mobileissani myös luonnonmateriaaleja, kuten sulkia ja puuta. Isoin 105 paperiperhosesta koostuva mobile on ollut esillä näyttelyissä niin Suomessa kuin Irlannissa.
Jokainen mobile on uniikki taideteos. Ainutlaatuisuus pitää luomistulta yllä: mobilen tekeminen tuntuu joka kerta uudelta ja erilaiselta. Koskaan ei voi ennalta tietää, miltä lopputulos tulee näyttämään – – Se paljastuu vaihe vaiheelta.

The mobiles I make are very delicate. Even the tiniest breeze can make them alive. These mobiles create tender vibration of beauty around the space.
Mostly I have made mobiles of hand-painted paper butterflies and recycled crystals. If the sunlight strikes the crystals, the space will be ambraced by the wonderful rainbow-colored dance of light. On the other side of paper figures (butterflies, dragonflies, birds, flowers, leafs, planets, stars, unicorns etc.) I put beat metal (gold/silver). Sometimes I also use natural materials such as feathers and wood in my mobiles. The largest mobile I have made consists of 105 paper butterflies. This mobile has been exhibited in Finland and Ireland.
Each mobile is an unique piece of art which keeps the fire of creativy alive: everytime it feels new and different to start a mobile. You can’t tell beforehand how it will look like in the end – – Phase by phase it will be revealed.
